Top Seven Ways to research a company or brand online

When you need to research a company, product or mark on the Internet you can improve your results and spend less time using the following seven proposals.

1. Motors search – Google / Yahoo: simple and complex

Of course, you already know how to use search engines like Google and Yahoo. However, make sure you take full advantage of these tools. If you have never used the "advanced features" of Google, you're limiting your ability to find desired information.

If you want a charity to benefit the search engines visit Research charity. Some work very well as aggregators and search results more donate a portion of their profits to charity. 6. Search the site traffic ranking web firms in Alexa, Compete.com, event. The Compete.com blog has also excellent reports on various companies.

You can search with Google "companyâ site: compete.com "to refine the results pages of Google compete.com, including several blog entries.

7. If the company below, the Stock Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies provide a wealth of information that is publicly available. This information is displayed on EDGAR, but it is easier to find in common sources, such as:
